I thought having a blog site would be easier for all of us and eliminate hundreds of texts. I will keep this updated as much as possible so that you know where we stand.
Made it through the first break. I have $65,000 chips and the average is $74,000. Plenty to fight with. We are down to 156 players so half of us will make the money. I have had zero cards so it is good that I have been able to steal a few pots. Good luck to us!
Ok next break. I have 92,000 chips which is a little below average. There are 110 players left. When we get under 100 I will keep this updated every time a couple go out till we get to the money at 81. Good luck to us.
95 players but I just lost a 160,000 pot. I had KK and raised under the gun. Big blind called me. I bet big all the way and he called. He hit a flush in ye river with K7 of hearts. Horrible! I only have 18,000 chips left. Looks bleak
Well guys this one was bad. Got good cards and bad flops. Only start with 4,500 chips do you get short quickly. Last hand I was the big blind and had Q9 hearts. Small raise pre flop I call and the flop is 10...J...Q. I check to the raiser and he bets. I go all in and he calls with KK. I don't improve and am out. I now officially hate KK!!!!! Sorry for the bad year.
Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI am out. 92 place. Sorry guys. I had AQ and only $20.000 chips. 99 called me and won.
ReplyDeleteThat's poker, right? Sounds like you had a great tourney - nothing you can do about flush on the river.
ReplyDeleteGreat job beating out the output 692 other players.
ReplyDeleteNo apologies necessary. Great run. There's always Friday!
ReplyDeleteThat sucks. You made it pretty far. Just needed a break. Good luck on Friday.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone.
ReplyDeleteTime for a drink.

ReplyDeleteYou have to get a little lucky too. At this rate, you should see if they have a monkey tournament. Can't hurt!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear it, but thanks for keeping us posted. Maybe Amy can bring home a title?!
